Looking for cheap email marketing software that won’t eat your budget? Good news: almost every service on this list has a free plan, and the cheapest paid plans sit at around $10 a month or less.
Still wondering why email marketing is important for your business? In short, you own your list, and no algorithm decides who gets to see your message. And you don’t need much money to start. A low cost email marketing tool is enough, and most of the ones below can be used for free.
I used Brevo, Kit (back when it was still called ConvertKit), MailerLite and Mailchimp myself. Today The Niche Guru sends its 9-day email course with Brevo.
So which affordable email marketing service should you pick? Here are 11 of the cheapest email marketing services you can start with today, with the prices I checked on their official pricing pages on October 1, 2026.

These are the cheapest email marketing services I know, and most have a free plan, so you can test before you pay a cent. Yearly means the monthly cost when you pay the year upfront. All prices are in US dollars.
For most beginners, a free plan is more than enough, and you can always upgrade later. It gets harder when you already have a list and some experience. Then the small print matters: how fast the price climbs as your list grows, and whether automations are locked behind the paid plan.
Depending on your business, some of these tools will fit better than others.
Below I review each one, with the main features and current pricing, so you can decide which of these affordable email marketing solutions works for you.
You might want to read:
SendPulse started as an email tool and grew into a multichannel platform, with email, SMS, web push and chatbots in one account. The email side has automation, segmentation and real-time stats.
Is it for you? If you want email plus a couple of other channels without paying for three separate tools, yes. It also works as a plain bulk email service when you just need to send a lot.
SendPulse Key Features
Set up automated sequences that fire when a subscriber does something, or on a date you choose.
Pull in the subscriber’s name, location or past behavior so each email feels written for them.
Send two versions of an email and let your list tell you which one works better.
Pick a pre-designed template that already looks good on mobile, then tweak it.
Build your own signup forms and embed them on your site to grow your list.
Add text messages to the same campaigns. Handy for reminders or order updates.
Reach website visitors with browser notifications, even after they leave your site.
Automate conversations on Facebook Messenger and Telegram from the same dashboard.
SendPulse Pricing
Free plan: up to 15,000 emails a month. Standard starts at $9.60 a month billed annually for 500 subscribers, with unlimited emails and no SendPulse branding (pricing page, checked October 1, 2026).

Moosend is a complete email marketing platform with everything you need to build visual campaigns that convert.
You get a drag-and-drop landing page editor, automated emails and simple eCommerce campaigns.
The interface is easy to pick up, so I think it suits beginners. Analytics are clear, paid plans include unlimited sends, and Moosend now belongs to Constant Contact.
Moosend Key Features
Create, segment and personalize campaigns with drag and drop, no code needed. You can also split your audience by behavior.
Design visual newsletters in the editor, or start from a pre-built template and be done in minutes.
Send newsletters at the right moment and let automations do the repetitive work. You can even set up your funnel so your email sequences run on autopilot.
Features made for online stores, like product recommendations based on what each visitor browses.
Turn visitors into customers with landing pages for any goal or industry.
Show a signup form once a visitor is clearly into your content.
Subscriber data turned into simple charts, so you can see what your audience responds to.
Moosend Pricing
No free plan, just a 30-day trial with unlimited sends for up to 1,000 contacts. Then Pro is $9 a month for 500 contacts, or $7 a month paid yearly (checked October 1, 2026).

MailerLite is another cheap email marketing tool with enough features to run your campaigns properly. I used it, and it’s the one I’d give to someone who has never sent a newsletter.
It’s simple and flexible. You can build landing pages without any fuss and personalize your emails to get closer to your subscribers.
Next to some flashier tools the design can look plain. But what you care about is functionality at a good price, and that’s exactly what MailerLite gives you.
MailerLite Key Features
Build campaigns with the drag-and-drop editor, start from a newsletter template, or set up eCommerce campaigns.
Grow your audience with the website builder, landing pages, pop-ups and embedded forms.
Send the right email to each subscriber at the right time, using automations and segments based on what they do.
Test subject lines and content, keep what works and drop the rest. Every test makes the next campaign a bit better.
Reports and click maps show you which links people really click.
MailerLite Pricing
The free plan now stops at 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month, so ignore the old 1,000-subscriber limit in older reviews. Comfort is $12 a month ($10.80 billed yearly) for 500 subscribers and 5,000 emails (checked October 1, 2026).

GetResponse is an all-in-one email marketing platform. Easy to use, fairly cheap and full of tools for online marketers.
You get autoresponders, trigger-based email templates and solid segmentation.
Despite all those features, it’s well designed and pretty intuitive.
For eCommerce and online marketers, it’s one of the most complete options here. The catch? No free plan anymore.
GetResponse Key Features
A simple email creator with autoresponders, email analytics and transactional emails.
Build full landing pages with signup forms, pop-ups, countdown timers and eCommerce tools.
Tag and segment subscribers, save time with automation flows, track your website visitors and win back lost sales with abandoned cart emails.
Run on-demand webinars, share your screen and collect feedback with surveys.
Built-in tools to run and manage your paid campaigns from the same place.
Ready-made sales funnels for specific automated campaigns.
GetResponse Pricing
No free plan, only a 14-day trial. Starter is $19 a month for 1,000 contacts, or $15.58 a month billed yearly, with unlimited sends (checked from the US in October 2026).

Constant Contact’s drag-and-drop editor makes it easy to build professional-looking emails.
Its automations let you build a full workflow and cut the manual work by scheduling when each email goes out.
I’d point more advanced users here. There are a lot of features, and not everybody will know how to use them.
Constant Contact Key Features
Build newsletters quickly with drag and drop.
Welcome emails and other automated messages keep your audience engaged.
Find new customers and keep them coming back with segmented, automated emails.
Track your social campaigns and reply to comments and messages from one place.
Upload your contact lists, then add new contacts from your website, social media or in person.
Real-time tracking shows you who opens, clicks and shares your emails.
Constant Contact Pricing
No free plan, but there is a 30-day money-back guarantee. The Lite plan lets you send 10 times your contact count each month, and extra sends cost $2 per 1,000. Its price depends on your list size, so check the current figure on Constant Contact’s pricing page.

Brevo (the old Sendinblue) is an all-in-one marketing toolbox built to grow with you.
This is the one I use today: The Niche Guru’s 9-day email course runs on Brevo, after a bad experience with ConvertKit (more below).
You can put the repetitive stuff on autopilot with automated sequences, and build a landing page for each campaign with the visual editor.
Brevo is one of the most popular affordable email marketing solutions. The free plan is more than enough if you’re new to this, and paid plans are priced by how many emails you send each month.
Brevo Key Features
Design clean emails in minutes and get the word out.
Answer visitors’ questions live while they browse your site.
Automate your segmentation and your messages, and get that time back.
Send each message to a smaller, better-targeted group and get more engagement.
Keep every customer detail in one place.
Give each campaign its own page for a more targeted visitor experience.
Grow your list with custom forms you embed on your website.
Detailed stats for every campaign, so you learn what works.
Brevo Pricing
The free plan lets you send 300 emails a day. Starter begins at $9 a month for 5,000 emails, down from the $25 I had in this table before, and Standard starts at $18 (checked October 1, 2026).

Pabbly has a free email marketing plan, so you can create good-looking emails without paying anything at first.
It supports SMTP routing. In plain words, you can send through several SMTP servers to get better inbox deliverability.
It also lets you set up a product and a checkout page quickly.
No transaction fees means more money stays with you, and being able to create unlimited products and plans is a big plus for online marketers.
Pabbly Key Features
Schedule your emails and let automation take care of the manual work.
Simple signup forms that are quick to build and quick to fill in.
See how many times your emails are opened, clicked or bounced, and more.
Keep your list clean by removing bad or unwanted email addresses.
Send a welcome email automatically every time someone new subscribes.
Pabbly Pricing
Free for 100 subscribers, with unlimited sending through your own SMTP. Standard was $17 a month (normally $19) for 10,000 subscribers. They run promos often, so expect small changes (checked October 1, 2026).

ConvertKit (now called Kit) is a powerful email marketing tool built mainly for bloggers and creators.
The design is simple, but it’s extremely functional for regular newsletters, bulk emails and effective funnels.
Want a lot of control over how you segment and reach your subscribers? Then it’s probably your best choice.
There’s one thing I learned the hard way, though. Before Brevo, The Niche Guru used ConvertKit, with Thrive forms sending new subscribers to it through the API. In 2025 the ConvertKit API key stopped working without any warning, and for months the signups from those forms never reached the list.
If you go with Kit and connect it to forms from another tool, send yourself a test signup every few weeks.
For more on features and ease of use, take a look at my Convertkit review.
Convertkit Key Features
Turn readers into customers with landing pages built from premade templates.
Collect subscribers on your website (and check they’re arriving, see above).
Write simple, clean emails that still do the job.
Send broadcasts to your whole list or to a single segment.
Build a path for each subscriber and send them the right content automatically.
Connect Kit with the tools you already use through plenty of third-party integrations.
Convertkit Pricing
Kit’s free plan now covers up to 10,000 subscribers. Creator, which adds unlimited automations and sequences, is $33 a month for 1,000 subscribers, or $390 a year (checked October 1, 2026).

Systeme.io is an all-in-one online marketing platform. You can build sales funnels, send automated emails, create and sell online courses, run affiliate programs, set up a website and automate most of your online business from one account.
Why is it on this list? The free plan includes unlimited emails for 2,000 contacts. If all you need is a newsletter, though, it’s more tool than you need.
Systeme Key Features
Build funnels from proven templates.
Get a simple website up in minutes.
Sell your own products or run a dropshipping store.
Send newsletters and campaigns to your contacts, with unlimited emails on every plan.
Create sequences that send the right email when someone joins, buys or clicks.
Create your own affiliate program and automate the payouts.
Systeme Pricing
Free up to 2,000 contacts. Startup is $17 a month for 5,000 contacts, and every plan includes unlimited email sending (checked October 1, 2026).

MailChimp is probably the best-known name here. I used it too, and I get why so many people start with it. The editor is friendly and you don’t need technical skills to send something that looks professional.
It also has segmentation and automation. The problem is price: the bill climbs fast as your list grows, and the free plan is now tiny.
MailChimp Key Features
Design and send newsletters, promotions and automated messages.
Lots of pre-designed templates you can adapt to your brand.
Segment your audience by behavior, preferences and past engagement.
Welcome emails, follow-ups and campaigns triggered by what subscribers do.
Test subject lines, content and send times to see what works best.
Connect it to e-commerce platforms, CRMs and other business tools.
Signup forms plus tools to grow your list and handle unsubscribes.
Send order confirmations, shipping notices and other transactional emails.
Check your campaigns and stats from your phone.
Build landing pages and digital ads to support your email campaigns.
Share campaigns on social media and track engagement there too.
MailChimp Pricing
The free plan allows 250 contacts and 500 emails a month. Essentials starts at $13 a month and Standard at $20 for up to 500 contacts (checked October 1, 2026).

EmailOctopus is all about simplicity and low prices. You get the essentials to create, send and track newsletters, and nothing you won’t use.
There are automations for welcome sequences and time-based campaigns, and the reports let small teams see the success of their campaigns at a glance: opens, clicks and subscriber engagement.
I’d recommend it to small businesses that want a straightforward, affordable email marketing tool without fancy extras. Its free plan is one of the most generous here.
EMailOctopus Key Features
Templates you can adapt to your brand and message.
An editor that doesn’t need any technical skills.
Set up welcome series, follow-ups and nurture sequences.
Open rates, click-through rates and subscriber activity for every campaign.
Build signup forms for your website or your social profiles.
Works with e-commerce platforms, CRMs and other business tools.
Manage and segment your lists to target specific groups.
Send order confirmations and shipping notices too.
A support team and a knowledge base for when you get stuck.
Landing pages to collect signups and promote your campaigns. The free plan includes one.
EmailOctopus Pricing
Free for 2,500 subscribers and 10,000 emails a month, with their branding. Pro starts at $9 a month billed yearly and removes it (checked October 1, 2026).

What is the best cheap email marketing service?- Conclusion
Every tool here lets you run personalized marketing campaigns without spending much.
So what’s the best cheap email marketing service? If you’re starting from zero, go with Brevo or MailerLite. Brevo is what I use for The Niche Guru’s course, and its free plan is enough to get going. Bloggers and creators should look at Kit’s free plan (10,000 subscribers), keeping an eye on form integrations. If you sell online and want funnels too, look at Systeme.io’s free plan or GetResponse.
Who should skip the cheapest options? If you already send to a big list and need advanced automation, ecommerce reporting or phone support, a free plan will hold you back. In that case, pay for the right tool from day one.
