Spocket is a dropshipping app that allows you to choose the best products to sell from thousands of dropshipping suppliers all over the world.
It has an easy-to-use interface. Spocket try to maintain a high standard, with suppliers having to pass fairly strict procedures to join their network.
What is Oberlo?
Oberlo is another popular dropshipping app for Shopify. It searches through suppliers via AliExpress and offers a vast number of products from many different categories.
They also provide an easy-to-use app. Although the product catalog is much more extensive than Spocket, the delivery times are higher.

The main differences you can find between Spocket and Overlo are:
- Spocket focuses on sellers in the US and the EU, whereas Oberlo uses suppliers from across the globe
- Although both offer eCommerce integration, Spocket offers several integrations like Shopify, Woocommerce, Wix, etc. Oberlo only integrates with Shopify.
- Spocket’s shipping times tend to be faster
- Spocket has a smaller catalog of products than Oberlo.
- Spocket allows you to send a branded product package. Oberlo does not.
- The Spocket interface is more modern and user-friendly.
Next, let’s find out how the user experience compares.
Spocket User Experience.
Spocket dashboard is spotless and easy to navigate.
The search product view is what you will use the most to find the best products to dropship and import products on your store. Here you can look by keyword or browse by category. With a single click, you can filter by:
- Ships from the US.
- Ships from EU.
- Premium. (highly discounted and fast shipping products)
- Fast USA shipping
- USA shipping under $5
Then you can filter by relevance, price, or shipping time.
To start searching for products:
Step#1. Click on “search products” on the left panel.
Step #2. Use the search bar to look for your products or choose between the different categories.
Step #3. Next, browse the products that will show below. If you click on them, you will get more info about the product. If you want to add them to your product list, simply hover over the product, and a “add to import list” button will appear.
Step #4. Head to the import list on the left menu to see your products. Here is where you control the products before adding them to your store. You can check:
- Product overview
- Description
- Variants
- Images
Once you have all set, simply click on “Push to Store.”
Step #5. Lastly, to see your products, click on “My Products” on the left menu. Here you will see all the products you have pushed to the store. You can even view it directly on the store or remove it by clicking on either option.
Finally, you can manage all your orders from “My Orders” on the left menu.
Although when browsing products, you might not have as many options as in Oberlo, the average product quality seems to be better on Spocket.
Overall, the process of adding products to your store is quite simple.
Oberlo User Experience.
The process of finding products in Oberlo is quite similar to Spocket. You can quickly identify the various sections at a glance
To find a product, all you need to do is:
Step #1. On the left menu, click on “Find Products.”
Step #2. Now you can either browse by category or insert your keyword to find a product and click “Search.”
Step #3. Next, you will get a list that you can filter by best match, order counts, or price. . To add a product to your product list, all you need to do is hover over the image and click on “Add to import list.”
Step #4. Click on “Import list” on the left menu.
Step#5. Here is where you can see the product info: description, image variants (colors and sizes). Once you have all set, click on the “Import to store button.” This will push your product to your Shopify store.
Step #6. Lastly, you will find your products on the left column under “Products.” Here is where you can have control over the products you have imported on your list.
You can also easily see all your orders from the “Orders” menu on the left-hand side.
The process for adding products to your Shopify store is very similar to Spocket. I did not find one to be more complicated than the other.
One of the most critical factors of any dropshipping business is product delivery.
It is decisive choosing an app where you can easily track your orders and with fast shipment options. And that is what we are going to check next.
Spocket Product Delivery
The shipping in Spocket will depend on the supplier. However, you can find delivery times on average from 4-7 days and sometimes even from 1-3 days! That is ridiculously fast.
And when you can deliver products at that speed, it translates into happy customers.
When browsing products, you can sort them by “shipment time,” so you can find the fastest first.
Alternatively, you can also click on the “fast USA shipping ” button.
As you can see, the shipment time options with Spocket are excellent.
Oberlo Product Delivery
One of the most common complaints heard about Oberlo products is the extensive delivery times. Products shipping from abroad is one of the main drawbacks.
For instance, if we look for sunglasses in Oberlo, the average product delivery is 30-50 days! That is a hell of a time for simple sunglasses.
In my opinion, Oberlo’s delivery time is, without a doubt, a significant setback.
Another critical aspect of deciding on which dropshipping app you want to rely on is the support.
You want to stick with a company providing excellent customer service and the ability to help you in case you find any issue.
Spocket Support.
Spocket offers a help center, community, and live chat support for Pro and empire users.
To access any of these, click on this icon at the bottom of the Spocket dashboard:

Additionally, Spocket’s Facebook group is quite a helpful community where you can find tips, tricks, and educational material.
As per the live chat, it works like a charm. Customer service is helpful and knowledgeable people always willing to provide you with a pleasant experience.
I don’t need to mention how reviews are for those companies that offer bad customer service. So you would agree that this is solid proof of happy customers with both the service and the app:
Oberlo Support.
In Oberlo, you can access the chat feature with any plan. However, the average reply time is one day.
Like in Spocket, to access the chat, click on the chat icon at the bottom. A window will open, and you can just type your question:
One of the main complaints in Oberlo is the waiting time being at least 24 hours. This can be frustrating, especially if you are experiencing any significant issues. It is one of the reasons why their review in Trustpilot is not as good:

While both Spocket and Oberlo are great additions to your dropshipping business, Spocket has taken over from Oberlo. In this review, Spocket has proved to be the clear winner.
